Dusica Lecic-Tosevski is neuropsychiatrist, psychotherapist and professor of psychiatry at the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia. She is Corresponding member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, director of the Institute of Mental Health and Head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Mental Health workforce development. She is member of the WHO Working group for ICD-11 classification of personality disorders; WPA honorary member; APA Distinguished Fellow; International Associate of the Royal College of Psychiatry; EPA Fellow, Immediate past president of the Psychiatric Association of Eastern Europe and the Balkans (now honorary president) and President-Elect, Serbian Psychiatric Association. Dr Dusica Lecic-Tosevski has focused her research on personality disorders, depression, traumatic stress, comorbidity of mental disorders and prevention of mental disorders and was coordinator and investigator in many international and national research projects. She is editor in chief of the journal Psychiatry Today, and member of the Editorial Board of many national and international journals. As Chair of the National Committee for Mental Health and WHO National Counterpart for Mental Health she is involved in the reform of mental health care in the country. Dusica Lecic-Tosevski is dedicating a lot of her professional work to teaching and promoting young doctors and their career.
