St. Elisabeth University of Health and Social Sciences (nonprofit organization, founded in 2002) is a university based educational institution with 14520 students in academic year 2014/2015 (10002 BSc, 4218 MSc, 310PhD). Headquarters is situated in Bratislava and operates in 21 countries worldwide, mainly Asia (Cambodia, India, Malaysia) and sub-saharan Africa (Kenya, Uganda etc.) Educational programs are focused on healthcare and social sciences, such as public health, nursing, psychology, social work and others. St. Elisabeth university is member of EUBA and signator of Magna Charta – Bologna (2007).
